St. Simons

Joel and I met 4 years ago Memorial Day weekend on the annual YL beach trip. Life has changed dramatically in 4 years... marriage, moving to Memphis and two kids. What fun we've had together and with our 2 sweet girls.

This year's beach trip was in St.Simons, GA. This trip used to be a bunch of singles, but has transitioned to married couples and families. It's so fun to watch the kids playing and the adults hanging out.. and then I think about this trip in 15 years... we'll have teenagers!

Georgia Friends

On our way to St.Simons we made a couple stops to see some of our friends. We spent a night with Chad and Kristen Chandler in Marietta and got to play with Caleb. There was a cookout that night of a bunch of YL staff and friends and we were so glad to see everyone... I can't believe how fast all the kiddos have grown!

Then we spent a couple nights at Nathan and Gina's house in Macon. We got to catch up with a lot of our old leaders and committee and Addie Lane got to play with Mary Kate.

And we're on our way to St.Simons for Memorial Day weekend.

Kimble's Wedding

While the girls were hanging out with Nana and Pawpaw, Joel and I had a great weekend in Birmingham. It was fun to be with friends and to have lots of time together. We missed our girls, but we were so glad to have time away. Kimble looked beautiful and the wedding was so perfect. I'm so excited for Kimble as she and Matt start their life together in Augusta.

A week with Nana and Pawpaw

We had a great week with Joel's parents. ice cream from Mayfield Dairy. trips to the park. playing on Nana's swing. lots of new toys. and time with Aunt Jo. Addie Lane and Lucy loved all the extra attention from Nana and Pawpaw and Joel and I loved the help! We were able to go shopping, go see a movie and go to Birmingham for Kimble's wedding.

Nashville

On our way to Georgia we stopped in Nashville for a night with friends. We got to see Mel and Matt and Jennie, Ben and Anna Wells. I hate that I didn't get a picture of the everybody, but here are some pics that we took of the girls in Mel's front yard.

We had the best weekend with Miles, Sharon, Karson, Kanler and Keaton in Gainesville. Addie Lane tried putt putt for the first time. She didn't really want to put the golf ball down, but once she figured out that she got to hit it, she loved playing. Pop will be glad to know that we have a future LPGA player on our hands:)
