Fun at the Pool

Brooks loved Addie Lane's ruffled swimsuit... only 9 months and she already has boys chasing her. :)

The Beach

Yesterday was Addie Lane's first day at the beach. To her Daddy's delight, she loved the sand and the baby pool! It will take some time for her to warm up to the loud ocean with cool water though.
Here's Addie Lane and MJ. More pictures to come...

Laid back

Bottle time is the only time of the day that Addie Lane relaxes. Otherwise she's pulling up on everything, crawling across the room and then back again, and playing/chewing on anything in her way. It is so much fun to watch her make new discoveries every day.

And yes, I painted her toenails. :)
We are going to the beach on Monday and every girl need a pedi before the beach, right?

Jack and Addie

The day we brought Addie Lane home from the hospital

Friday night at dinner

Cousin Jack has always loved hugging and kissing Addie Lane. Lately he has discovered that he can make her laugh. He jumps, dances, makes faces, etc. and gets so excited every time she smiles or laughs.

9 month Doctor visit stats:
16.14 lbs 10-25%
26.5 in 10-25%
HC: 45.5cm 75%
Apparently she has a big head for being such a little girl.
She must be a genius! :)

Time away

We just got back from Georgia and east Tennessee. Saturday we drove to Joel's parents house. We celebrated Joel's birthday and enjoyed some time with his family. Then on Monday Joel and I went to a marraige conference in Kingston, Tennessee put on by Young Life. Nana and Pawpaw (Joel's parents) kept Addie for 3 days. I don't know who had more fun... Addie or Nana and Pawpaw! :) Joel and I missed her like crazy, but it was great to be away and have time together at an awesome bed and breakfast.

Lee and Pam, thanks so much for taking good care of our baby while we were away!
