My Sweet Granny

After a very happy and full 86 years, Granny has gone to be with Jesus. No words can express the love I have for her. My family has gone to eat hamburgers at Gran's house every Saturday night for as long as I can remember. She made my favorite cake in the world- Sock it to me cake. And time with Granny was always relaxed and fun. Granny lived out the meaning of walking with the Lord. She was a faithful prayer warrior and a Sunday School teacher to 4 year olds for 52 years. I'm so thankful that we were back in Memphis the last 6 months to hang out with her. She loved holding Addie and loved to talk about how beautiful she is. We love you and miss you, Granny!!

FOOD!

Addie has been eating rice cereal for a couple weeks now. When she's really hungry nothing but nursing will do, but otherwise she likes it.

Grizz Game

Addie Lane LOVES the Memphis Grizzlies! I'm not sure if it is the lights, the noise, the Jumbo-tron TV or the combination of all these things, but she doesn't even like to eat when she's there. She's captivated!

Bad Blogger

Addie must have heard that I've been a bad blogger lately...

Erin, Queen Blogger, commented on how I was such a good blogger in October.. and then I fell off the face of the earth. Hopefully all the posts below will make up for my lack of new pics lately. Scroll down for lots of cute new pictures of Addie Lane.
PS. If you like my Banner at the top, Erin (I like to call her Queen Blogger because she has a GREAT blog and updates it VERY often) can make one for you too!!! Check out ebsdesigns.blogspot.com for a banner or her site schwantfamily.blogspot.com

Happy Girl

We went for her 4 month appointment last Monday. Addie Lane is now 24 inches and 12lbs 6oz. I can't believe she is growing up so fast. She loves to smile and has started giggling occasionally, which is absolutely adorable! She also drools at least a gallon a day. Check out the front of her shirt..

New Toy

Addie Lane wasn't too sure about the exersaucer the first time I put her in it, but it's growing on her. She likes to stand more than sit these days and she loves all the bright colors.

We love it when Aunt Kelly comes home!

Mom, do you see what he's doing to me?

Visitors

Matt and Mel came to Memphis to visit. It was great to catch up and we had a super time at the Memphis Grizzlies game. Addie went to her first NBA game and she loved all the lights and action. We thought we might have to leave early because it would be past her bedtime, but she didn't fuss at all. We might need to get season tickets :)

Mel painted Addie the cutest monogram ever for the nursery. You can see (and buy) her art. www.melbelle.com

Young Life tacky christmas

Addie and I didn't want to be tacky, but we wanted to join in on the fun.
