Pajama Time

Lucy is 9 months old!

What a smiley baby!
That is the comment that I get everywhere I go. Lucy has always been such a sweet and smiley baby. She loves her big sister and wants to be around her all the time. Addie Lane is really sweet and will share most things with Lucy, but her books (especially her Curious George book) are off limits. Addie will try to distract her with other toys, but Lucy just wants whatever Addie Lane has.... so cute!
Not only is Lucy crawling all over the place, but she's pulling up and has even started cruising too. She's often saying ma ma ma and ba ba ba. And she loves to clap when we clap.

Addie Lane went with us to the appointment. She's old enough to associate the doctor's office with shots, so she was a little on edge until they handed her a sucker and then she was all smiles.

My Big Backyard

The Memphis Botanic Garden just opened the coolest children's garden ever! We took a picnic lunch and played. It was hard to tear Addie Lane away from all the fun, but I assured her that we'd go back soon.

Aunt Jo was here for a long weekend- unfortunately not enough pictures were taken. We had lots of fun and loved having her here, as always.

Great Grands

I am one of 14 grandchildren on my Mom's side. So far there are 9 great-grandchildren with another on the way. Here's a couple pictures of 4 of the 6 girls: Kendall, Addie Lane, Lucy, and Alia.

Lucy is on the Move

Lucy has been scooting around for several weeks now, not a full crawl on all fours yet, but can get anywhere she wants to go. She loves trying to pull up and can squirm her way out of the bumbo.

This is the first step in getting out... she turns around and then leans over the edge just enough to get her legs out and then uses them to push . She usually lands on her face, but that doesn't stop her.

Addie Lane just started going to Mother's Day out on Thursdays. She has fun with friends at school and Lucy loves getting all of Mama's attention.
