Favorite Spot

If your looking for Addie, check the front window first... Her favorite spot these days is the big window by the front door. In between playing with her toys and following Mama and Daddy around the house, a girl has got to rest. She kisses the window, she waves at the cars that go by, she knocks on the window, but mostly just sits on the sill. I guess she's thinking about her sister that is coming in January and her cousin that is coming in April! (Laurie's pregnant too!!) :)

Boston

Joel and I usually try to take a trip somewhere for our anniversary... but when January 14th comes around (if I deliver on my due date) we'll have a one day old little girl! :) So we decided to get away a little early- to Boston. It was an incredible trip! Joel's parents were so sweet to come and keep Addie Lane for us. It was the longest that we've been away from her, which was much easier than we thought it would be. We definitely missed her like crazy, but what fun it was to laugh, travel and talk without the words diaper, naptime, toys, etc. entering the conversation.
We had perfect weather and the trees were changing into the brightest reds, yellows, and oranges I have ever seen. After spending 2 days in Boston, we drove up to Maine (2 hours) through the changing leaves and along the rugged east coast, then the last day we spent in Cambridge.

Bedtime

Addie Lane loves books.. at times it's the same book 100 times and at times she'll bring you a new book after reading each one.
Then it is bottle time. We do a bottle in the morning and one at night. Generally in the morning she'll sit in your lap the whole time she's drinking her bottle. (Just like her Mama, she's not a morning person.) At night we try to get her to calm down and sit with us, but she's a squirmy little one. She loves to walk around, play with toys, and drink her bottle all at the same time.
